Dragons Lair Films was created by Peter Coster in 2004 and brings together the leading and upcoming talent in the industry, to create original and exciting films.
HUSH
In 2005, Peter's first short film he wrote and produced called 'Hush' was a DV film shot on a cannon XL1. This 5 minute short was a collaboration between Peter and his two friends Paul Jaques and Rami Hilmi. The three friends form together to create PPR Films for this exciting short thriller/comedy in which Peter plays the lead role with Paul and Rami playing mains roles as well as Rebecca Herod taking the female lead and Ben Langley behind the camera directing the pho
tography. At one point all five were on camera in one shot! The film was well recieved at veiwing across the country and is still a calling card for Peter's writing.

REQUIEM FOR TOMORROW
In association with Old Hut pictures, Requiem For Tomorrow is a 95 minute Thriller CGI feature film. Filmed totaly on green scene in a studio in Bulgaraia, south Germany the production took 2 years to complete. As well playing the lead antaganist 'Fatman' Peter was co-producer also the casting dierctor. During the casting the opportunity arised to meet some fantastic actors such as Chris Pizzey and Steve Pound.

A 12 minute HDV Psyhcological Drama short film
Waking abruptly by the radio, Jaden Cole seems disturbed by the dreams he has had. Jaden girlfriend Jessica conforts him, reaasuring Jaden that he is only worrying about the important boxing fight he has later that day. Feel happier, Jaden and Jessica start to cuddle and play fight only to be disturbed by Jaden's Trainer 'Terry' knocking on the door. The fight doesn't go to plan and Jaden finds himself waking up at the start of the same day, over and over. KILLING TIME
'Killing Time' is a Short film which is a small part of a much bigger project i have written called 'Londons Pride'. In this short, four serious career criminals wait in a car for someone to collect on a deal. The boss 'Bill' is slowly running out of patience with his henchmen as the time passes listening to the DJ on the radio. After Bill's temper starts to show, Eddie is sent to check the boot. The case holding the 'goods' hasn't moved from the last check and Eddie's sarcasam only fuels Bill's annoyance. When a girl appears to ask for directions, Tom sees his chance too break the icy atomsphere at the girls expence. Bill and Eddie question Tom at his surprising knowledge of the local area, only to find Tom has sent the girl a completely wrong direction. Breaking the ice, lightens the mood untill the girl returns!!!  |
